Ice Cream for Two
I used to take my children for ice-cream on Saturday mornings in the summer to a small town near where we lived. I would often see these two there. They would come wobbling down the block. He would get her all situated on a bench, then go get the ice-cream. She would always act like it was the most wonderful thing in the world. A delicious, happy surprise. Then they would sit and enjoy eating their treat. I would think that everyone would like to think that they could have such pleasant and romantic an old age.
This piece has two characters, one park bench, flowers and a hat.
